About us · Ribarska 7

Our family garden, your sanctuary in Skradin

Roots of love

This garden has been growing since the late seventies

It all started with grandmother Marija, who welcomed the first guests to this garden in the late 1970s. Every stone, every tree and the beautiful roses still in bloom today — all planted by the hands of our elders. My parents tend them with great love to this day.

I grew up in this garden, know every detail and was present at every stage of the restoration. For years we came as a family, kept it alive, and dreamed of the day we would breathe new life into it.

That day came — and it didn't disappoint.

A meeting in Skradin and a new vision

We met in front of this very house

Skradin is where my path and Ana's crossed for the first time — we met right here, in front of this house, as we were both spending our summers here. Years later, Ana suggested we turn our beautiful family garden into a wine bar.

We combined her eye for aesthetics and design with my passion for detail. That's how our Wine Garden was born — not a corporate project, but an extension of our family life.

We don't make wine — we truly enjoy it and select the best for you. Every label on the shelf is there because we tasted it ourselves and decided it belongs here.

Our way of life

The moment the school year ends, we're here

We come to Skradin with our children and spend the whole summer. This is where we unwind, recharge and enjoy every moment with family and friends.

That same feeling — warmth, ease and the sense of being invited over for a glass at a friend's — is what we want to pass on to our guests.

When you step into our garden, you're not just visitors. You're sharing a piece of our summer paradise.

Authenticity

The wine we drink ourselves. Food that's homemade. A boat that's wooden. Nothing is here to look authentic — things are here because they simply are.

Family warmth

A guest isn't a "guest" — they're someone who's come to your home. Zrinka will greet you with a smile, Ita takes care of every detail, and Ana and Domagoj are on WhatsApp.

Quality without pretension

A wide selection of handpicked Croatian wines, but no label is here to impress. They're all here to be drunk — with prosciutto, at sunset, over a good conversation.

Tradition on the waves

A traditional wooden boat with a lateen sail

Our love of tradition and nature doesn't stop at the garden gate. In front of the house you'll find a traditional wooden gajeta with a lateen sail — bought out of pure love for sailing, to pass that passion on to our children.

Sail with us on the waves of tradition and discover Skradin from a completely new perspective. Every voyage on this gajeta feels like coming home.

What guests say

Three independent reviews, the same feeling

"It's like a fairy garden. A beautiful setting, personal and friendly service and we enjoyed a selection of fantastic wines."

— Katie B.

"What a gem! Personal and friendly service, excellent wine, the best charcuterie board I've had in Croatia."

— Carol D.

"We were served fresh hot bread, local cheeses and fresh tomatoes as a welcoming gift. The wines were superb."

— Gill O., Liverpool

Three independent reviews mention the same feeling: that this is personal, not transactional. That's not coincidence — it's been the intention from day one.

Skradin is more than a gateway to Krka

Stay at least one night

Many tourists spend an hour or two in Skradin, visit the national park and leave. That's a shame, because Skradin itself is worth an evening.

A promenade lined with wooden boats, car-free stone streets, restaurants that serve localocal specialities. Five minutes' walk to boat dock for Krka NP. In front of the house waits our wooden gajeta, ready to sail for hidden coves.

Wine Garden exists so Skradin isn't passed through — but stayed in for at least one night, with one more glass than planned, and left with the feeling that you saw something real.

Come, sit in the garden, and see
